Podiumsdiskussion im Rahmen der Ausstellung RADICAL CONTEMPORANEITY

Marina Gržinić and Aina Šmid are involved in videofilm experimental and political productions from 1982. They have collaborated in more than 40 video art projects; they made a short feature 16 mm film and numerous video and media installations. Marina Gržinić is doctor of philosophy and Professor at The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Gržinić is as well researcher advisor at the Institute of Philosophy at the ZRC SAZU in Ljubljana. She has published hundreds of articles and essays and several books. Aina Šmid is art historian and free-lance journalist.

Aneta Stojnić is theoretician, curator and artist. She works as assistant professor at the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade. She published two books and numerous journal articles and book chapters, and collaborated on numerous artistic and curatorial projects internationally.

jan jagodzinski is Professor of Visual Art and Media Education in the Department of Secondary Education, University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is the author of 17 books and numerous journal contributions and chapters.

Martin G. Weiss is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Klagenfurt and working on the ethical and political implications of biotechnologies. He was co-director of the trilateral ELSA-GEN Project DNA and Immigration: Exploring the Social, Political and Ethical Implications of Genetic Testing for Family Reunification.
